Awaiting tourists (Donkey handlers - Lindos) is now available to purchase as a giclée print both framed and mounted.
This is Michael's latest work and it captures a scene from his visit to Lindos in the summer of 2012.
When including figures in a setting such as this, you have to give some thought to the composition to ensure you arrange the figures in a way which provides balance. The bright colours portray the baked sun of a summer's day on the Greek island of Rhodes and help give the work a feel of natural sunlight. The blue hues of the shadows add to the overall effect.
The work depicts donkeys and their handlers waiting for tourists at the entrance of the acropolis in Lindos. Donkeys are used in Lindos to carry visitors up the steep hill which leads to the acropolis.
The latest news section of the website informs the public about forthcoming art fairs and events that Michael is taking part in, upcoming exhibitions which are showcasing Michael's work and any projects Michael is involved with.
